Before Labor
We will meet meet at least 2 times so I can familiarize myself with the kind of birth experience you wish to have, defining your plans, hopes, discussing options, concerns and going over any questions you may have. I can use my experience to prepare you the best I can for your labor, teaching pain coping techniques, positions to encourage labor progression, and relaxation and comfort measures. If you have any questions or concerns about the many options available to you for your birth, I will provide you as much objective information as possible and will support you in any decisions you make. I am always available via phone or email, and I also can accompany you on prenatal visits to your provider.

I will support you and your partner in allowing the birth the happen with as much ease as possible as it unfolds. I will make gentle suggestions for progress, ease, and comfort supporting your confidence and encouraging your bodies ability towards relaxation.
